Betty’s Bay
Market Day

Fresh food closer to home

Our Betty’s Bay Market Day brings Harvest Club to the coastal community. Located at 4225 Adenandra Road – the home of our Betty’s Bay co-host, Mea Viljoen – this venue is easy to reach for members from Betty’s Bay, Kleinmond, Pringle Bay and Rooiels.

Each month, Mea first travels to Stanford to collect your goods, for you to then pickup your orders from her house the next day. Products include organic produce, grass-fed meats, dairy, pantry staples and trusted health products – all sourced directly from regenerative farmers and local makers.

Join Our Movement

Our Betty’s Bay market offers both convenience and community – a chance to pick up nourishing food and connect with like-minded neighbours.

We also host our Market Days in Hermanus, Afdaksrivier & Stanford.

Whether you’re new to food clubs or a long-standing member, you’re invited to be part of something that nourishes both people and planet.

How Market Days Work

1) Order online – Our shop opens for about 5 days each month. Members choose from organic produce, grass-fed meats, dairy, pantry goods, and health products.

2) We buy direct – Orders are combined and placed straight with our regenerative farmers and trusted, ethical brands, who then have a week to harvest, pack and deliver to us.

3) Collect your goods – On Market Day, your order is waiting for you, ready for you to collect from your host (Mea’s home) and take home to enjoy.
Bring your own cooler bags and we’ll give you a packing sheet to tick off all your items as you pack your bags, ensuring you receive everything you ordered.

Alternatively, you can collect from one of our other Market Day venues, such as in Stanford, Hermanus or Afdaksrivier.

Meet Your Host

Mea Viljoen

As a mother of two growing young kiddies, Mea understands the importance of sourcing only the best, healthiest and natural foods for her family. This lead her to finding the wonderful world of food clubs! And with her natural, kind, giving nature – always wanting to help others – she would soon offer to host her own market day, helping us make it even easier for our members in Betty’s Bay, Pringle Bay and Kleinmond to access the types of healthier products Mea treasures too.

Thank you to Mea!

The Team Behind the Scenes

Harvest Club wouldn’t run without our dedicated team:

  • Robynn de Klerk – the ‘Collaborator in Chief’, launched Harvest Club in May ’23 as a way to access healthier foods and enable more conscious commerce with a local twist.
  • Bryan Robertson – artisan food maker, baker, and master-organiser of our fridges and freezers, who receives, checks and sorts all our cold goods. Bryan also brings the music and a fun sense of humour!

  • Mariejo Wiehe – also a food maker and food club supplier, keeping the storeroom and packing process running smoothly; and the ever-friendly and warm market day guide, where members quickly become friends!

Between Robynn at the computer, and Bryan and Mariejo on the ground, we make sure every member receives all their food club goods with great care and purpose.

What is Harvest Club?

We’re co-creating a new, healthier, regenerative food system.

Harvest Club is more than a buying group, it’s part of a growing food movement:

– Supporting regenerative farmers who heal soil and ecosystems.

– Reducing waste and excess packaging.

– Strengthening community ties through shared food experiences.

– Making healthier, sustainably sourced food more accessible.

Every order makes a difference – to your health, to small farmers, and to the planet.
